If you stop off at Kadıköy in Istanbul, walk around the market square of this long-established district. You will not regret it. You will have the chance to find the best-quality fish, meat, vegetables, fruit and bread.. You are not required to purchase anything, just cast an eye! You will feel and understand that you are truly living in Istanbul. If you get tired while walking around the market square, we recommend that you have a rest at Baylan, the oldest patisserie of Istanbul.

The welcoming façade of Baylan is composed of two large, attractive display windows filled with all different kinds of chocolate packages. When you break free of the crowd and enter in through the large wooden door, a warm air filled with the smell of chocolate hits your face, The left hand side of the entrance hall is a display full of a variety of pastries, chocolates and sweets.
Chocolate baskets are displayed along the cabinets on the walls.
